Viewpoint of the Facho
Its name comes from the fact that, originally, at this point a bonfire was kept, lit every night, with the function of warning light for navigation.
The viewpoint houses the Monument of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, patron saint of the city, begun in 1983 and inaugurated on December 31, 1999.
The view is fantastic, making it possible to have a 180 degree perspective, over the entire city of Praia da Vitória, including the entire bay and beaches.
You can visit this viewpoint by car or if you prefer on foot, leaving your car next to the city's marina and climbing the steps that will take you to the top of the mountain, right next to the viewpoint.
Baías da Agualva Trail
This trail is mostly done along the coast. It is a linear type of easy difficulty, with a distance of 4km, about 2h to finish.
It is recommended to bring appropriate walking shoes, raincoat, hat, sunscreen and water.
A camera is also recommended, as the views are for saving and remembering later.
Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Quatro Ribeiras bathing area
The natural pools of Quatro Ribeiras are a very pleasant leisure area, surrounded by rock formations resulting from solidified lava, which over the centuries was sculpted by marine erosion.
This leisure area with calm and crystalline waters has support infrastructure and is very popular with families as it provides good safety conditions for children.
Biscoitos bathing area
Located on the north coast of Terceira Island, the Biscoitos bathing area is made up of natural pools outlined among the curious configurations of black rocks resulting from volcanic eruptions. With good support infrastructure, this area attracts many bathers, but also all those who like to contemplate nature and who find here a very beautiful landscape, made of contrasts between the dark basalt and the blue of the sea.
Wine Museum
This museum, which seeks to tell the 430 years of the history of vine culture in the parish of Biscoitos and which also seeks to integrate itself into the traditional landscape of biscuits wine production, currently the Demarcated Region, was inaugurated on February 2, 1990, during the celebrations of the hundredth anniversary of the Casa Agrícola Brum by the heirs of Francisco Maria Brum, former producer of vines in the parish of Biscoitos
In this museum you can see the entire process of wine production, from the cultivation of the vine to the maturation of the vine and its transformation into wine or its by-products.

Serreta Park
It is located in a forest mainly consisting of eucalyptus, pine, arboreal ferns and metro trees, which provide a pleasant atmosphere due to the aroma of their essences.
It also has a children's play area, bathroom and shelter.
Very popular area for picnics and leisure, known for its fresh, aromatic air and smell of eucalyptus.
Algar do Carvão
Volcanic chimney 90 m deep, formed about 3200 years ago due to the drainage of magma from the main chimney, which regressed into the magma chamber.
Today it can be visited inside, being one of the few in the world to allow visits.
You will find several rock formations and a blue lagoon at the bottom.
It is recommended to wear a waterproof all year round, as droplets of water are constantly falling.
Footwear should also be appropriate as the ground in some areas can be slippery.

Lagoa do Negro
This lake is surrounded on one side by a mass of cryptomeria trees, on the other it has the Santa Bárbara mountain, flanked by Pico Gaspar.
Under this lake, the Gruta de Natal is developed, with tubes of lava flow, testimony of ancient eruptions of the Santa Barbara mountain range.
Great stopping place to rest, relax or even stop for a family picnic.
You can also enjoy and get to know the Gruta do Natal, as it is right in front of the lake.
Gruta do Natal
It is a very extensive geological formation, resulting from the formation of a lava tube in the interior of the island, included in the Natural Forest Reserve of Serra de Santa Bárbara and Mistérios Negros. It has ramifications in the form of different tunnels, formed by lava flows in different directions.[1] One of its curiosities is the fact that it is located largely under a lake, Lagoa do Negro.
This cave can be visited during most of the year.
